Dengyel tibor (camp prisonniers 1945)

Hungary, being co-German of Germany against the USSR, Tibor Dengyel, enlisted in the Hungarian army, was taken prisoner, in April 1945, by the Soviet Army. He was interned for a few weeks in a prison camp held by the Russian Army, near Budapest. During this stay, he made sketches of his fellow prisoners. He has left us a series of these drawings that we present below.
