Special sale of works from the collections of the artist's grandson and two great-grandchildren
All painters gather impressions from nature which they strive to translate. Many, captivated by the magic of the colours, the balance and harmony of the sites, note these sensations on the surface of the skin, hold the attention of the public for a moment and disappear. This is the great crowd of art primaries. Jamar, of course, like the others, like all of us, undergoes this first impression, but it is not enough for his art. It penetrates the landscape. With this spirit of analysis and observation, the fruit of culture and civilisation, he seeks the intimate thought of things, measures their resonance with his soul and throws the vibration even onto the canvas.
