Borys buryak -( ukraine ) level 13 europe - brussels
Under the Patronage of the Ukrainian Mission to the European Union and the General Commissariat for International Relations of the Wallonia-Brussels Community
After the tribute exhibition to the painter Eugène De Bie last October, it is the turn of the Ukrainian Borys Buryak to occupy the prestigious walls of the private Level 13 Europe at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Fielding . As part of this elegant home, thirty paintings give a good overview of the production of a discreet artist who still dares to live his art.
In recent years, we have regularly admired her paintings at the K Gallery in Sablon which has, among other discoveries, largely contributed to the recognition of the artist in our country.
Born in 1953 in the village of Podvirnè in the Chernivsti region of Ukraine, Borys Buryak spent his entire schooling in his homeland, especially in the city of Lviv. He is staying there now. But his painting has gone far beyond the borders of Ukraine to establish itself throughout Europe, including Vienna, Paris, Moscow and Brussels
The exhibition is part of a joint initiative by Andrew Fielding (Level 13 Europe Sprl) and Pierre Goffin (Asbl Association for Artistic Promotion), which aims to get to know Europeans better through the discovery of artists from the European Union. and neighboring countries.
Exhibition from December 6 to 22, 2008.
Level 13 Europe Sprl, Avenue Molière 213 to 1050 Ixelles.
The exhibition is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 14h to 19h.
