"PRESENTATION OF THE ARTIST BY HIMSELF"
All little girls draw princesses and ballerinas. I, after finishing my graduate studies of Fine Arts, I continue to draw them.
All my thoughts, my feelings, my dreams, my sorrows, my happiness, my loves, I turn them into images of ballerinas.
The ballerinas are indeed almost angels, except that instead of wings, they wear a tutu. They also represent the fragility of the female soul as well as grace. They can be any woman and I propose to identify you with the unknown women represented in my paintings.
Modern art seeks to surprise and in a way shock the public. I want to please him. Throughout the centuries, art has mastered beauty, subjective and objective beauty, absolute and relative beauty. I am also adhering to this principle because it is more beautiful and better.
The images of the ballerinas allow me to make many compositions using stylization and movements that are limited by theft.
The religious icons inspired me to use gold for canvas backgrounds while the styles "Gothic" and "Art Nouveau" inspired me in the stylization of figures.
